Transportation
All wedding festivities take place at Il Borgo di Vignamaggio.
The venue is easiest to access by rental car. You can also pre-book a car service. We recommend you avoid taxis, as they can be an unreliable way to travel to Tuscany. You can rent at the airport or nearby Firenze Santa Maria Novella train station. If you choose to rent a car, be on the lookout for speed cameras on your drive and do not drive in Florence central district as this is strictly off limits to cars.
A shuttle service will be available before and after each event for transportation to and from La Pensione di Vignamaggio, Corte di Valle, and Hotel Le Barone. You may use these shuttle services or bring a private car directly to the venue.
Flights & Trains
The nearest airport is Aeroporto di Firenze-Peretola (FLR) - 26 miles from the venue.
You can often find much cheaper flights into either Milan Malpensa (MXP) or Roma Fiumicino (FCO) - both 2-3 hours away by train. Once you land, follow signs for trains and book a ticket to "Firenze Santa Maria Novella" train station at one of the machines or counters. Note that you may need to change trains (from Milan, this is usually at Milano Porto Garibaldi station).
