Chicken wings are a messy, awkward food to eat in front of somebody on a first date. But that’s exactly what we did. From the beginning, there has always been a sense of comfort and familiarity between us that allows the walls to come down.

We met a few weeks prior on the dance floor of Club Cafe, Boston’s premier gay night club. We both had friends with us from out of town but soon abandoned them to talk to each other (you can guess who started the conversation).

We bonded over a love of exercise, travel, and helping others. From there, life has taken us to exciting places like Thailand, India, Europe, and even exotic Connecticut where we’ve landed for Ajay’s residency.

Fast forward to December of 2024 when Ajay got down on one knee to propose to Michael after weeks of acting weird. Ajay, being the most sincere human alive, had invented a cover story that we were getting drinks with a cousin’s coworker. Michael, feeling antisocial, wanted to nap instead and almost missed their engagement. Luckily, Ajay got him out of bed and got that ring on his finger. The rest is history.

We are so excited to take on the next phase of life as a married couple. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey so far. We are thrilled for you to join in our celebration.
